Ideally to get this Championship off the ground we need 3 or 4 teams with 3 Formula Ford 1600 cars on the grid. The Portuguese Formula Ford grid at Jerez was just 7 cars. 4 teams would guarantee a grid of 12 cars and we are almost certain that at least another 4 cars would enter individually. The smallest grid in the UK´s Heritage Championship was 10 cars to most 28 (see article)
